Hi Heroes!
Sorry for the second update in the same day but I wanted to bring your attention to another Kickstarter campaign that went live a few days ago called Stonebound Saga.
This is a reboot for a campaign that was live at the same time that Quodd Heroes was. They have rebooted and re-branded and made a few other changes and I think it looks amazing! The designer, Eric Bittermann has put a lot of time and passion into this game and it shows! The artwork is AMAZING! (see below), and the gameplay looks pretty cool as well.

Anyway, I hope you guys will take a look. It is now 80% funded and once funded will start unlocking some amazing new content through stretch goals (I've seen a preview of some of it).

Greetings, Heroes!
Here is this week’s text update.
First of all, I’d like to say thank you for sitting through the card creation process with me during the live stream. It was great to have the opportunity to work through my creative process with all of you, and your inputs and feedback were invaluable to me.
In most cases, the artwork is already beautiful and I'm only doing minor adjustments. In this case, admittedly, I got carried away a bit. But I've got to have some fun too sometimes! Thanks again to Kamila for her amazing work! Here is the Space Bender after some additional adjustments compared with the original artwork.

I’ve also gotten started on other new runes.
Time Rune (treasure) and Omni Rune
Regarding language independence and card text, I have to announce that we will not be going the language independence route any more (at least not completely). This decision comes after some serious consideration on my part. In order to make sure all the icons are up to the high standards I’ve set myself, I’ll have to spend a lot more time on refining them and testing out kinks than I’m comfortable with. However, for everyone who likes/prefers icons, I’m pleased to say that we’ll include both icons and text on most, if not all, of the cards.

I believe this is in the best interests of players of all levels, plus I’m working really hard in order to get the files off to print as soon as I can so everybody gets their game with minimum delays.

Hello, Heroes!
I hope your weeks got off to good starts!
After Monday’s stream, I’d like to present this week’s text update.
First up… The card back! The colours might be tweaked a little, and I’ll have something different in the middle for the world events, as well as a different frame on the front side for the Overlord deck, but the design is more or less finalized. I hope you like it.
Card Back
Next up, player boards. I’ve decided to add unlit light bulbs to each slot in the skill tile area to represent upgrades. Corresponding skill tiles will have lit bulbs on them. The skill tiles will also have either green highlights on top for movement upgrades, or blue at the bottom for exploration/ability upgrades.
I’ve also updated the lock icons at the top of the player boards to represent locked objectives. This is where crystals and tokens go.

Updated food and item cards also made their debut on the stream this week. The apple icon at the top of the card has been switched out in favour of a bottle, and the labels now have a standard size in order to fit cards which need more information on them. I’ve also decided jazz up some of the food cards by adding things inside the bottles such as gummy bears for gummy juice and bright yellow stars for jolt soda. I hope you like them!

The icons are not yet finalized, and I’m still working on making them more intuitive for players of all levels. I will also make sure I know it might seem like there’s a lot of icons to know and get used to, and I understand that can be overwhelming, but don’t worry, I’ll be including icon cheat sheets for you to refer to.
I’d also like to present a backer-created card – the Freeze-O-Tron!
Freeze-o-tron
This card activates when you move and turns water into ice, allowing you to slide along a body of water in a straight line for as far as you want.
Regarding the minis, I’m pleased to announce that we’ve more or less finalized all the modelling, and I’m just waiting for the final STL file for the sheep and a few minor tweaks to be made to a couple of others before sending them off to Panda.
PLEDGE MANAGER
Finally, I’d like to stress that the pledge manager is set to close this Friday, meaning that no more changes will be able to be made. This means people who have not had a chance to fill in the pledge manager must do so by Friday, June 14th. I will be sending out final reminders to those who have not filled in theirs. If you’re having problems with your pledge manager, please reach out to me and I will get it sorted for you.
