Pre-Production News:Starting off this weekly updated I haven't got a lot to report on the pre-production front. I submitted updates to the digital proofs on Friday and again on Monday and things seemed to check out from their end. I'm assuming the the PPC is being worked on at this point. My project manager at Panda was on holiday this week so I only communicated with the pre-press team. I should know whats happening first thing Monday morning. If so, I will discuss it in the Twitch stream.
Twitch Streams:
Last Monday I did my first Twitch stream of Quodd Heroes gameplay and despite a number of hiccups I think it went pretty well. I got through scenario 1 of the solo campaign but lost.. It was fun anyway of course. There were as many as 52 viewers watching at one point which I consider a pretty good turnout :) Sadly, being new to the platform and the OBS software I didn't realize that streams weren't automatically recorded. This means that only the final minute of the stream was recorded. Oops. It was good for a laugh (a sad one). I will make sure that during the stream coming up this Monday at 1pm EST that I will be recording and have everything setup and ready to go at the start of the stream. I'll be playing through scenario 2 (and probably 3 as they are linked) during the stream. I hope many of you will tune in to watch live or check out the replay. Feel free to subscribe if you want to be notified when I stream. There is a good chance that I will try streaming a few times this coming week including playing through the tutorial scenarios at one point.
Gen Con Promos
I had some promo food cards printed up for Gen Con this year. There are three of them and they're alternate versions of 3 different food cards in the game. I will be giving out 1 of the cards each day, so if you're attending please stop by and pick one up. I haven't decided how / if these will be available otherwise, I printed only a small number of each card, but I'm assuming they will be made available at some point in the future.
Estimated Delivery Date
At this point I don't have a specific ETA on delivery. I have been bombarded with messages on all available platforms asking for a specific date. At this point the best I can do is ask you to refer to the schedule that was posted showing the duration of each step in the production process. We are still in Pre-Production. Mass production won't likely start until mid-August with means production will end some time around the middle of Oct at the earliest. I realize you're all very keen to finally get your games. David at Panda has promised to keep me up to date on the exact status as things move along and I will update you during next week's update with the latest from him (he was on holiday this week).

Digital Proofs
This week has been spent on a few things but most importantly I received digital proofs to review prior to printing the Pre-Production copy for Quodd Heroes. After check them I found a few errors and sent back revised files today. With any luck, those will check out and they'll begin the PPC early next week. Thats a pretty big milestone, and it has me quite excited!

Update on French language pack.
So after consulting with some backers affected by last weeks announcement I'm suggest the idea that we just PRINT the cards in french and make the rules and scenario book downloadable. This would represent a Significant reduction in cost and means that this is still doable. If you supported the French language addon please reach out to me and let me know what you think of this option. Please get your feedback to me ASAP as a decision has to be made very soon on this issue.
Bonus additions to Quodd Heroes:
During last Friday's live stream (which was very well attended, thank you!) someone asked if there were any other changes or additions that came along since the end of the campaign. At the time I only mentioned that a 9th game board was added to the box to accommodate the additional scenarios. Afterward I remembered a few other things that were added as a value to backers / players. Because we had some space on the punch-boards we added character randomizer tokens to allow players to pick characters to play with in a random way. I think this is a fun and useful addition. I also added a number of new useful tokens that will come in handy for future official scenarios and backer created ones! There were also some additional World Events added and some changes to existing ones. I think there are likely some other small things that I'm forgetting that were added but if I think of them I'll be sure to let you know during a future update.
Twitch Streams:
As I mentioned in last week's update and during the last live stream, I'm going to start streaming Quodd Heroes gameplay on Twitch. This week I started experimenting with multiple webcams and the OBS Studio streaming software. Over the weekend I plan to have everything configured for a great stream on Monday at 1pm EST. I will post an update when I go live but if you want to follow me on Twitch my username is @WondermentGames. Very much looking forward to these streams! :) I will start this week with a brief tutorial of how to play followed by the first scenario in the solo campaign. Tune in!
