Fab Friday Update: Cloth bag samples, Gen Con

Happy Friday Heroes!
Weekly Updates: The first issue I would like to address are these updates themselves. I have received private messages as well as read a few comments complaining about the frequency of Kickstarter updates being too much. I realize that in the past few weeks there have been more than the average number of updates. My apologies if this feels a bit spammy to some of you. I will try to make sure that there are no more than 2 updates in a given week: This Friday update during the lead up to production and during production itself, as well as the Monday stream announcements. Even this may be too much for some, and I apologize. I will try to make them as informative as possible.
Cloth Bag Samples: Yesterday I received the cloth bag samples for the dice / cloth bags addon option. Here is a photo of the samples they sent:

The bags a decent size and the fabric is slightly fuzzy which kind of feels nice. I like the black back with the die icon but really am not a fan of how the sheep embroidery turned out, nor the white bag itself very much. I plan to discuss the options with Panda at Gen Con and see what the options are. I'm thinking of going with a darker colored bag for the sheep and find a way to improve the image used for the sheep embroidery. Would love to head what you think of them. I will share details with you guys once I have had a chance to discuss my opinions with Panda.
Gen Con:
As I have mentioned previously Wonderment Games will have a booth at Gen Con this year (Booth #2855). I will have the Pre-Production copy of the game from Panda on hand for demos and to show all of the backers who stop by. I would love to see and talk to all of you. I will have some promos on hand including the Quodd Heroes notepads I've had for the past 4 years. So make sure you say hi and try to get in a demo game while you're there.
Backer Gathering: I will be hosting a small backer gathering at my hotel (the Omni Severin Hotel) which is just a block or so from the convention center on Friday Aug 3rd at 8:00pm. If you're interested please RSVP on Facebook HERE. Space is limited to roughly 22 people so RSVP soon!
Live Stream: I will be Live Streaming again this coming Monday but not at the usual time of 1PM EST. I will stream in the afternoon at some point and will announce the stream with an update on Monday. If you can't tune in remember that all previous streams are available to view on Twitch.

To those who cannot watch and prefer fewer updates, my apologies. I've committed to weekly updates on Fridays and Live Streams on Monday. Fab Friday Update: Plastic Samples + Coin from panda

Howdy Heroes!
As you may have seen in yesterday's update, I received some samples from Panda for the plastics for Quodd Heroes yesterday and they look amazing. There are a few minor issues with scale of a few characters and other pieces, as it seems like the plastics team didn't reference the spec sheet I provided. David at Panda assures me that these are minor issues that will be resolved without much difficulty. Today I send them photos showing the issues in detail with all of the information they will need to make the appropriate adjustment. I'll have a new set of samples to show in a few weeks.
Another bit of great news is that the Pre-Production Copy will be ready for Gen Con. I will be picking it up from Panda on-site on the 1st of August, the day before the start of the convention. I will do a live stream unboxing from my hotel if-possible. This is what I'm most excited to see! The Dice samples and cloth bag samples will also be ready at that time.

This is a momentous day. I received an unexpected birthday present in the mail today from Panda games. The sample resin minis (I think) from Panda have arrived. I haven't opened the box yet and am going to share it with you guys right now in a Live Stream on Twitch. Watch here:
