Hi Heroes!
Its is time for another update to let you know how things are progressing!
Prior to Chinese New Year shipments left China destined for North America and Australia (I had previsouly stated that the Australia shipment didn't make it out before Chinese New Year but apparently this was incorrect (YAY for good news!).
The two vessels are:
North America Shipment: HONOLULU BRIDGE (track here). The ETA I was initially given was March 5th to reach the port in Florida.
Freight passage is booked for the Asia and EU (which includes rest of world) shipments as soon as final assembly is wrapped up for the German games. I will keep you posted as soon as I hear from Panda that all the games have shipped.
I have enlisted Quartermaster Logistics to handle freight. The are also handling fulfillment for all regions except EU/RoW which is being handled by HappyShops in Germany.
Quartermaster's regional fulfillment parters are:

Australia/NZ: Aetherworks
USA: Quartermaster
Canada: Snakes & Lattes
It feels fantastic to see the games finally moving off around the world to reach you guys soon! I'm super excited to have everyone receive and play Quodd Heroes!
Reviewer Copies:
I have sent review copies off to a handful of prominent reviewers in hope that some of them will be able to take a look at the game and talk about it (and hopefully say good things!). Yesterday Derek and Lizzy Funkhouser did an unboxing video for their copy of the game on a live stream. You can watch their video here: Board Game Spotlight Quodd Heroes unboxing video
They seemed pretty excited about how the game looks and say that they are keen to play it soon! I look forward to hearing what they think!
The other reviewers should all have received their copies last week or this week so perhaps we will see some other videos in the near future. My fingers are crossed!
Quodd Heroes Society Facebook Group:
Some time ago I created a Quodd Heroes Facebook group to go along with the Facebook page. The advantage of a group over a page is that anyone can freely post to a group whereas a page is a little more restricted. A few backers have been posting about the experiences with the print and play and I figured some of you would be interested in reading about them. Here is a link to the group:
The backerkit pre-order store is now officially closed! For the time being it is no longer possible to pre-order Quodd Heroes. The game will be available again in the near future through the Wonderment Games / Quodd Heroes web site at a higher price until all of the leftover Kickstarter copies have been sold. Some copies may be held in reserve for Gen Con and Essen, but that will depend on a number of factors that have yet to be determined.
PLEASE make sure to check your addresses on Backerkit to make sure they are correct in the next few days. After that it will not be possible to change your shipping address.
A reminder should have been sent out today to check your mailing address. You will have two days to fix any errors before everything locks down. Please check you spam and junk email folders if you don't see the email from BackerKit!

Locking down Backerkit on Friday!

Hey Heroes!
Because we are starting the shipping process I will be locking down Backerkit, including shipping addresses on Friday.
If you have to make any changes or if you know someone who might want to get in on the reduced Kickstarter pricing for the game, please make sure to let them know that they have until Friday January 25th to do so! After that they will have to wait until the game is available on the Quodd Heroes website for a considerably higher price and won't receive it until after Kickstarter fulfillment wraps up.

Hi Heroes!
Last week I did a live stream when the first MPC arrived the mail (without plastics). The quality of the KS Live stream was quite bad so I switched over to Twitch after wrapping up and covered all of the same stuff. For those of you who haven't had a chance to watch the streams or replays I will fill this update with photos.
This morning another package arrived in the mail from Panda containing:
All of the final not printed components (minis, Dice, first player coin, bomb dice)
A full German copy of the game
English and German expansions
French Cards add-on Pack
I will add some photos of everything below.
I am Live Streaming on Twitch at noon Eastern (-5 GMT), in a few minutes as well:
As I mentioned in the live stream there was a minor misprint on one of the punchboards for a 2x2 pit tile that is used in one of the solo scenarios. The bonus is that it is solid black (which is how the rest of the pits already look). This was an unfortunately mistake by me with the punchboards but it won't really effect gameplay in any way as it still looks just like a pit. Here is a photo of the PPC pit next to the Manufactured pit.
The pit on the left is from the Pre-Production copy, the right is the misprinted manufactured one.
Arguably, the pit on the right blends better with the pit printing on the boards.. Anyway all this to say that unfortunately its too late to fix this issue and ship on time and the cost for fixing it would be prohibitive. It will be fixed in future print run and when a Quodd Heroes expansion is Kickstarted the fixed tile will be included in the new game. My apologies for this. I'm hoping you agree that it is a minor issue.
Shipping
Good news: The games destined for North America and Australia / NZ will be on boats to their respective fulfillment hubs before CNY.
Less good news: Panda informs me that the German production won't quite be finished before CNY... this means that the shipment bound for HappyShops in Germany for EU and RoW shipping won't be sent out until after Chinese New Year. Panda ensured me that its the highest priority to get it out as quickly as possible and claims that the boat will arrive in Germany only two weeks after the shipment lands in Florida in March. Australia will arrive to port first near the End of Feb, Early March. I will provide updated shipment details with more accurate date information as soon as I have it!

I received a package in the mail from Panda a few minutes ago and I think it may be the manufacture proof copy of Quodd Heroes! Going to open it live.. right NOW on Kickstarter live!
